National Registry Emergency Medical Technician-Basic (EMT-B) Course Information:
ACME, LLC. is planning a 4.5 month face-to-face course, meeting Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6PM-10PM in the Austin/San Antonio area. In addition, we will meet for two Saturdays (8 hours each day) to complete the class.
- Students will also complete hospital clinicals and a field internship in addition to the regularly scheduled classroom times.
- All hospital clinicals will be held at Central Texas Medical Center in San Marcos (8 hours total).
- Field internships will be completed at San Marcos/Hays County EMS (60 hours minimum).
- Class size will be limited to 25 students.
- Final cost is yet to be determined, but expected to be $1,100 – $1,300.
